As many of you know, the Solana Center has been around for almost thirty years. Begun in 1983, our organization has progressed from a curbside recycling business to the educational center that it is today. These changes have taken place not only internally within our programs but on our actual site. Just in the past seven years, I have been a part of the complete transformation our location has gone through. We are all proud to say that our site is not only an office but now a Regional Garden Education Center for the community where we can offer garden education, tips, stories, and a peaceful, learning atmosphere. For those of you that have yet to take a Gardening 101 or Master Composter class at our location, I would like to officially welcome you to the Solana Center Garden. Check out the changes we have made in the photos below and maybe you will be inspired to come by and explore our growing garden this fall season!
